The Sound of Music Youth Edition - Stagecoach Colwyn Bay

Join us for a heart-warming production of The Sound of Music: Youth Edition, the beloved classic filled with unforgettable songs, lively choreography, and a story that celebrates courage, family, and the power of music. Perfect for audiences of all ages, this uplifting musical is a wonderful family experience, bringing to life the journey of Maria and the Von Trapp family in a way that will delight both long-time fans and those discovering it for the first time.

In true Stagecoach Colwyn Bay spirit, we are proud to provide as many of our students as possible with the opportunity to shine. To achieve this, we are presenting two performances with completely different casts. In addition, the roles of the Von Trapp children are shared, with performers swapping halfway through each show, meaning we have an incredible four sets of talented young performers playing these roles across the run!

At Stagecoach Colwyn Bay, we provide high-quality performing arts training for young people aged 3–18, based at Rydal Penrhos School. Our fun and engaging Saturday morning classes in singing, dancing and acting are designed to build confidence, spark creativity, and develop lifelong skills in a supportive and welcoming environment.
